OTTIMA LA PRIMA
PER “WEST SIDE STORY” REALIZZATO DALL’UPAM
Ha riscosso un ottimo successo il musical portato in scena dall’UPAM di Ina Perna “West Side Story” come spettacolo di chiusura del progetto “Dalla formazione al palcoscenico”.
Un concentrato di energia pura e travolgente è quello che il cast del musical dell’Accademia ha trasmesso ai tanti spettatori accorsi alla prima. Artisti giovani e molto preparati si sono esibiti in due atti di grande impatto per il pubblico. “West Side Story è un musical di una contemporaneità sorprendente, non tanto per la storia che è americana, quanto per i contenuti che riflettono molto quello che un aspetto della situazione socio – culturale che attualmente vive il nostro paese. Pertanto speriamo di riuscire a trasmettere il desiderio di cambiare il destino della nostra terra e di far prevalere l’amore su tutto. ” Afferma Ina Perna emozionata e soddisfatta.
A conclusone della serata, tra gli altri, è intervenuta il nostro presidente Stefania Spisto che oltre a congratularsi per la straordinaria performance dei ragazzi ha espresso la sua vicinanza verso progetti di impegno e passione come questo che per quanto le riguarda, non formano solo al palcoscenico, ma alla vita. Ha poi concluso il suo intervento con un omaggio a Bernadette De Cat, giunta dal Belgio per partecipare allo spettacolo, con una frase dell’indimenticabile pittore belga René Magritte: “I sogni non vogliono farvi dormire, al contrario, vogliono svegliare.” E stasera i giovani dell’UPAM sono riusciti davvero a raggiungere questo ambito obiettivo.
